Coens is an Art & Design studio founded by Coen Hoogstraten. The studio works mostly on self- initiated projects. Coen works both on interior objects and outdoor installations.

Through the last years Coens focus is light (technology). Coen started presenting his first light designs on events like the Dutch Design Week (Einhoven), TodaysArt (The Hague/Brussels) and the Luminale (Frankfurt). Earlier this year Coen worked together with the Philips Lumiblade to create a serie of objects called Naturalight. In the last months Lichtbloem, a DIY light he designed for kids,  takes most of his attention.
